If you wanna open new doors try:
KOMPAKT/INTAKT from Native Instruments, they released new Sounds Samples Libraries for these Vstīs... and it sounds WICKED!!! You can use a Professional sound shape with KOMPAKT, also try KONTAKT the most powerful sampler vst.
Battery is good... but with these 3 samples engines, man.. you will blow your speakers!!!!

what is the diffrence betwen kompakt intakt and battery?
i just know the battery is basiclly made for drums samples... but i dont know the two others...

INTAKT itīs for sample loop... you can cut, stretch, use some sounds shape and filters... INTAKT is based on KONTAKT technology...
KONTAKT itīs a complex machine sample you can use lot of formats as wavs, akai, logic vstīs samples files.. itīs the main sampler instrument from NI, you can also use filters. Basically with KONTAKT you can do the same things of INTAKT, you can also work with loops.
KONPAKT itīs new for me... it uses the same technology of KONTAKT too.. basically all of these machines is based on KONTAKT engine, I think the big difference as the name say.. KONPAKT itīs compact.. itīs more simple to use..
So... if you are inside the Sampling function use KONTAKT, you can do everything on it.
We used Battery a lot.. for Kick Drum and other Drumīs samples with Akai... but now we are using KONTAKT, cause the best sound quality (itīs a particular opinion)

Ok... for the people who donīt know BATTERY...
BATTERY its a sample machine too, you can load akai, wavs and aiff. BATTERY also has a Sound Shape, basically itīs a Envelope. You can use Battery to load severall samples and access on MIDI Roll (thatīs very very nice to make percusions or drums sequences) Itīs not as a step sequencer.. but sometimes work similar.. you have 54 or 64 (I donīt know) cells to insert your samples, if you also are not inside any sampling vst.. itīs good starts with BATTERY.

guys thx for all replies and i want to say that dont try to put kick in batery becouse if you for example put kicks on every 32 notes you get scratchy noise man so thats the problem why i ask for a sampler with halion you put kick and sometimes is making a kick like it has some cut off so i decide to try kompakt now thanks baphomet and hopw to see you soon

I work with:
NNXT, Halion and the KONTAKT.
The sampler you use depends on what sample
you wanna create.
The KONTAKT is very complex with a lot of
functions, learning it will be best for you!

Hi all i need the best software sampler around that does not load the CPU so much could you please give me some ideas! I tried contact but it takes a lot of cpu so want to try another one...

'Battery' is small and easy and takes small amount of cpu, 'halion' is very good as well but a liitle bit more complex- still not so heavy for the cpu
