Hey guys, im trying working with my bass in a sampler, but i don't now any, because i never needed a sampler. Can anyone advice me???

Battery is the most suitable for Bass and Percussion i would say..

I prefer Kontatk much more than Battery.
I quit Battery long time ago, cause I couldn´t get the sample linked to note lenght. So, for bass u might need to check the envelope for each cell. Maybe it´s easier now, but with Kontakt u have full control.

can someone please explain how you would go about sampling bass. I use Ableton Live and would like to sample bass notes from tau pro, or any other synth and use it for bass. If someone is kind to share their secrets of how they go about this it would be very appreciated. I have never done this but would love to know how to do it. Also would Ableton sampler be good enough for this or would Kontakt be a better choice?

the problem with Kontakt is that you can modulate the sample start and end points relative too each other......which is really lame when you consider that 15 year hardware samplers could do this |
