Hi everyone.
I have a problem regarding recording samples.
I use wavelabstudio, an m-audio 410 firewire, that is connected to my pc by an external firewire gate.
The weird thing is, that i cannot record any sample by for example dvd video.
When i set wavelab to record what is ouputted it just does not receive the proper signal, although soundcard setting are (i think) correct.
when i set it to record input, and i line my output 3/4 to the line input, it also does not receive a signal, although the 3/4 does send it.
Can anyone please help me since this is really driving me crazy for a while no, doing my thing to make the greatest trance, but not able to do something stupid like record a sample.
Any advize on which other program to use than wavelab would be very welcome,
I use a windows machine.
Thnx

Have you set your m-audio as the playback and recording device on the windows control panel?
If yes, have you set the m-audio to be the active sound playback and recording device in Wavelab's audio preferences?
You can always use a dvd audio ripper instead of recording in real time.
A friend told me once that the biggest mistake we make is that we believe we live, when in reality we are sleeping in the waiting room of life. |
