I need some application which can make sample library quickest and easiest as possible . I have many samples that i want to delete and open each sample , move it or delete for directory it is very hard job . If any of you know about application which can do the trick (preview , library global name change , sample rate change , mono/stereo change done automatcly by checking all items) say it here .
It can be also Sound Font management tool but it must be quick and easy.

I tried for this purpose ACDsee graphical viewer but it doesn't have any proccesing for audio . Cool application .
Also Wavelab have sampling library function but i don't know if i can export it as sample CD or just export it as collected samples. |

There is a game called Worms: Armageddon (by Team17) for PC. It allows you to put your own sounds into the games for the characters voices. It comes packaged with a small stand-alone application that sounds like it does what you want. its designed for the Worms games, but it's the only thing I can think of that does what you want. Hope I helped. |

i believe this application is under a shareware and free-distribute type license, so it should be floating around the net somewhere. im in the middle of a class right now so i dont have time to do a good search, but i promise i will as soon as i can. |

Most of the audio editors have batch mode, where you can process any number of samples at ones. You can use it for example to normailize and convert the sample rate at the same time.
For previewing and deleting you can use the audio pool browser in Nuendo or Cubase. It lets you import many samples and you can trash the ones that you don't like.

No mate , not only batch . I want application with realy simple layout to move things like in windows explorer but with audio editing functions nor opening each sample separately . If you know how to make it with Wavelab , Adobe Audition , Acid Music Studio 5 or SF7 , tell me . God bless you . |

winamp might can help- you can open multiple .wav files or .mp3 in winamp and instead playing it you can change the output settings to "disk writer" this function allows you to convert multiple files into the selected directory with the selected resolution and settings-

Still no one has a suggestion for a specific app other than Winamp?
I KNOW there is at least one out there specifically made for organzing audio files... it had "Alien" in the title, some like 'alien audio blah blah'...I searched and searched but can't find the old CDR I used to have it on.
Anyway, I'm very interested in this topic too, my drum & sample library has spiraled out of control and I'm too lazy to go through it all in Windows...
