i agree with "israman.com" ! even if you are clean from (illegal) drugs the presence of police still keeps ruining the atmosphere of the party. i can't even imagine going there and having the cops in the camping area searching, like sniffing dogs, for reasons to bully you!!!
i believe that in commercial house parties  there is more drug trafficing than in trance ones. yet no cops are there to intimidate the people! i can say this because i used to go alot in such parties and never did i noticed indiscreet cops bullying anyone!
i think that if the tv doesn't present the Samothraki event as "rave party with drugs" or even better doesn't mention the event at all, everything will be fine.

still i didnt get any answer from the organizers conserning what they do to ensure that we will be safe!... isnt it odd that the organizers cant explain what they do to keep us safe? !! all the state institutions that they mentioned above and in their web, were involved in previous festivals too...but no luck! i quess you dont even know what to say here....
and its not bad energy that i spread as some users said , just conserning about my vacation....
and for the last time...if the organizers arent responsible to answer to my question, who is? let me know and i will ask him....!!! |

so israman... i suppose you only attend events that are held in mexico, where with enough drug money, you can "rent" the town, the police, the mayor, hell even the f**kin president for a week !!
..or maybe you only go to the prive' partiez of the minister of public order (dimosias ta3is) here in Greece. I heared that the secretary of national defense played a killer set in the last one !! 
Pozitive Thinking People !!! ..Arm yourself with that and I can assure you that everything will be perfect !!

welcome to the forum israman (if you are new that is..)
i dont understand, what you expect from the organizers excactly israman, to tell you that the cops are ok with drugs???? or to tell you publicly that they have some crazy deal with the police??? or to assure some form of compensation if you are busted with drugs???? come on get real... finally cops or no cops the point is one! WE GOTTA FIGHT FOR OUR RIGHT TO PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!! (like the song sais) alot of ppl dont care about the police..they just want to party with or without cops, finaly one day the police will understand that they cannot stop festivals, and that is a statement that the ppl will make by massively attending music festivals and events, and is far more important than anything else...
by the way do you know that almost all festival get busted in europe? drug test right outside the gates, police blocks everywhere, problems with noise polution, etc etc etc...but the parties never stop! why? bcz the majority of ppl dont give a shit! cops or no cops...we party!
oh! and finally if you dont have drugs you dont have to be afraid of anything ... you call yourself a trancer, so are you into trance for the music or for the drugs...thats a question i think everyone of us should ask ourselves...

do u get my point and my worries now? cause noone from the organization even bothered to mention these things in public or in my personal emails to them.whatever, i hope everyone will have a good time and all the best to the organization of this festival even if most of the people doubt about it.... |

and don't even try to twist the meaning of your posts...it's more than clear to all i think, ntemek now you want a reference to the state and municipality permissions and licenses and 2 days ago you wanted gaurantees aout the police and to know whats going on with the cops... i think it's clear on the flyers, the posters the website daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa....hallo akatikito? or maybe kameno?...
