i guess i have the same desire with you for a festival in samothraki this summer but i m afraid nothing is gonna happen as we do not have any information till now, so maybe hopes are over

yeah, but they are the problem everywhere ;-)
i don't think they can practically forbid us to have it. of course then everybody should be more careful with what he is carrying with him... it's such a shame to miss an event like it... |

well i think cops is the greatear problem of all...
however it's a very good think that the island was left in it's peace for 2 years..as much as i like festivals (and samothraki was my best) 10.000 people with really lound music isn't the best think for a small island..
i believe that the best festival there will be with no more than 1000 people but everyone would like to go...
so how can we enjoy festivals and don't harm nature... i really don't know
