Nice to know the different points of view....
The difference in reasons, i guess shows in the professionalism in which it is done...
But my question was a little deeper...
@Avathara - I am sure you know other less riskier ways of having fun.
@Kausar - The same way., i am willing to bet my 10 ts that you know many other less riskier ways of making money.
So you guys have to really ask the question to ur self again and more than telling us or on the forum, give urself an answer as to why you wanna get into the organizer shoes.
For a lot of ppl i know, including me 5 friends dancing away to glory in the montains on a 2.1 speaker system is a party and so is 10,000 ppl digging some serious dust over 5 days. So for all the people who crib about no parties happening in bangalore, just round up ur friends, head up to Kodi/Bandipur and just blast away at your own pace or let the orgz do it however they please coz ultimately they take the risk, make the effort and get baked if something goes wrong.

Of course people discuss about organizers.
If i had an amazing time at one of your parties, i will definitely consider coming back the next time you do a party. Because, the organizer is the one who gets the right place, sound and all other little things that make up a party. So if you do it once properly you will do it again.
And the same way if i had a real bad time in one, i might think twice before coming to your next party however big an artist you bring. |

good question.. For me its money n then music. Cos if u don have money u cannot get artists, cannot buy his airtickets and so many other things.(though there are handfull of artists who r not bothered for money, very handful). Then u need money for sound genset, venue. Last but not the least cops and other perm. And just to recover this we charge entry. Sometimes high and low depending on expenses. In bangalore there have been instances where orgz have made money but not paid sound and few days back it was quite difficult to organize sound for trance parties.
ya after doing so much, spending so much time and energy u need some return else there is no point. U cannot carry this business for long. Will u be able to continue ?
For us its a sure business where we invest and look for returns and our product is the 'Artist/Djs'. And i am sure the artists also feel the same for their music. They give so much time n dedication in making those tracks, so they too also need some returns.and for me i respect all artists and whenever i get an oppurtunity i try and putforward their talents across to the world. When we charge higher than the standards, we also ensure that the artists that we are providing is also worth of the amount charged.
About fame? Who doesnt like fame? But i don think there is any kind of fame in org parties. All across the world their are so many parties and events taking place with diferent artists. But do anyone remembers or discuss about the organizers? Neither do anyone bothered about the orgz. People comes purely on the name of the artists and how the party has been promoted. its a crime... They take u as a rave orgz who deals in drugs and all(though we try and keep drugs out as musch as poss from our parties) they term u as an 'Ganjeri/charsi'. And if ur luck is bad u never know one fine day u will be all across the news channel and ur parents/family trying to get u a bail(though u r booked under a non bailable crime).
So thats the story bro...

Now Now...7 yrs in this scene-this is my first posting here..been following up as a silent guest user...Hmmm..now we have politics in the psy..not to mention - aggression??!! that to in a scene which stands for peace n unity n a world bridger which crosses the threshold of natonality..physical borders-race-creed-color & PERSONAL EGO! "All is one & one is all"-children of nature-humanity is just a speck in this changing world.. we need to stand up for our faith n belive. Is more about good vibes n unity...for the organizerss- n for us..-
remember the first rule of money : give n then u shall shall receive..u never receive n then give! so first we need to have a goodwill, get the crowd confident then u can concerntrate on ur financial aspect! But we need unity for the scene..peace n harmony n the ALL of us gain... ALL of us!! |

most of the shit on the forum is coming from the bangalore threads or threads related to bangalore parties
everyone s fighting , and there is no way they gonna stop
so request to the mods , why not just delete bangalore section from indian section of the forum
everywhere else there are healthy discussions goin on apart from these few threads which keep cropping up ..

I really fail to understand why people love to BITCH(i bet thats the correct word to use)
I opened up this thread looking at the number of pages in the title, thinking this must be a really hype party. Instead i see a bunch of people arguing/whining about some party that dint happen!
Well deal with it people 'SHIT HAPPENS'!
There is going to be a next time.
Come on guys grow up you should be thankful atleast the orgs are trying unlike some other cities where nothing even happens.
