you need energy to make energy, and you waste more then you make (at least for now...)

doesnt sound like what we're looking for...

salt water will be used in the future mostly for desalinization, as we already do nowadays...at least from my point of view...           un-fucking-believable

cause you need to point a 10,000 watts laser beam to the sea, to burn and turn into watts that will feed the before mentioned laser beam...

capishe? =p

at least for now, it is fairly undoable, not impossible...           un-fucking-believable

we;r at present using Salt water to produce fresh water on ships .. also - FRESH water is used for steam production - which is another medium of energy source for running turbines.. However - THe amount of energy that u consume for Superheating Salt water will be more than wat u will receive in the end .. not economically viable

"the process could not be considered an energy source, as more energy is used to produce the RF signal than can be obtained from the burning gas, and stated in July, 2007 that he never claimed his discovery would replace oil, asserting only that his discovery was "thought provoking."[13]
