anyone heard of these guys? i just got this cute little album, very nice tunes, tho sometimes they go a bit cheesy on the melodies. |

safri duo are a danish trance / bongo percussive fusion they had a track called the bongo song which did pretty well in the charts here in britain |

they are a bit cheesy, but the nice thing is that most of the drum beats there are played and/or recorded live. which is a thing i admire and love. |

thats cos they are a percussion group who teamed up with a trance producer
speaking of them, i was, errmmmmm, trying to listen to some good trance on an israeli radio station last night, and all i could get was, ummm, radio 99fm
the last track played really sounded like something of theirs
but even though thats a commercial station, there is no excuse on earth that justifies the mixing i was subjected to last night |

do u really mean the safri duo which has done the song played-a-live?? I don't like the music. Their melodies are very cheesy and the 2 tracks I know are almost the same. Its boring. |
