Tracklist:
01 - Neo Logic - Central System
02 - Echotek - Sick of it All
03 - Central Nerve - Inside Out
04 - Safi Connection - Doing Wrong
05 - Echotek - Grip on Reality
06 - Safi Connection - Universe Inside
07 - Side Effect - Another Chord
08 - Safi Connection - Dreams
09 - Neo Logic vs. Side Effect - Messia
10 - Switch - Club X

Is it a compilation? Or an artist album? You see, Mishel Bitton is Safi Connection, but writes songs with Micha Yossef as both Central Nerve and Neo Logic. Micha has his own project, Echotek, and together they’ve both worked with Avi Peled of Side Effect. Do you feel like I’ve drawn out a family tree? Good, because each project releases on the album. Which leads us to the aforementioned dilemma.
Whatever it is, this release kicks. The tracks are all over the place sonically. Some are proggy and melodic, while others lean toward a more full-on sound. A few even border on psy tech, lending to the well-rounded blend. Great rolling bass lines, crystalline production, and wonderful percussion work don’t hurt either. Stand out tracks are: “Inside Out” with it’s clever FSOL samples and atmospheric melodies, the truly twisted psy tech of “Doing Wrong”, the rolling prog of “Universe Inside”, and the almost full-on tranquility of “Dreams”.
D-Compilation is a must have. The wide range of tracks would compliment almost any set, and is a pleasure to listen to. I’m serious. Stop looking at me like that, and go buy it!
