Uff....indeed heard this story of my brother L'elf.......and now the sad news of Zolod on top of it....it's rought times out there............  May you both rest in peace dear friends & collegues, cya in the next life !!!!!!!!!!!

Terrible news... anybody dying is horrid, no matter the age or cause... but sriously... having worked in the mdeical field as nurse now for about 5 year, you don;t get pnemonia and just die in 3 hours... it would have been oviouse about a week before hand if she was heading that way because of this illness... I hope they solve the mystery and it is nothing bad... may her spirit live on in her son... does she have a husband or partner? ahhh well, have fun at the big doof in the sky RIP from Melbourne, enjoyed yer sets  |

Beka was a great light and touched many souls in her life..
She was a superstar, a fantastic human being, and will forever live on in our mind and hearts...
Her light shines on in the stars at night, and thus will always be remembered.

i am posting this on behalf of mine and bekas father mick.we had a gathering to celebrate bekas life on saturday.it was beautiful.we would like to thank everybody for their love and thoughts.i have shown my family what has been written here and on other websites.it has meant a lot to them that beka touched the lives of so many people from so many places.thanx..
the last two weeks since beka's death,on the summer solstice,have been the saddest of my life.but i draw strength from her passing on the longest day as it seems an appropriate metaphor for the fullness of her life as a global villager and what was important to her.
many of the festivals and parties she played at were and are held on these days of nature.this is as significant to me as it was to her,as it reflects an important aspect of the tribal nature of the lives we shared.mine more dominated by the surfing tribe and hers the global trance tribe.
more than ever the world needs to be brought together to celebrate the things we share.

....more than ever the world needs to be brought together to celebrate the things we share.this is obviously true of nature and can be seen in the dance music phenomenon and of course the surfing culture.a real healing alternative to the times we face.
there is really nothing more i can say about beka.no amount of superlatives can capture our feelings about her,but there were certain qualities that stood out.for me probably the most enduring qualitys was her ability to forgive,forget and move on.it was compassion that,for me,was her most outstanding quality. |
