I'm SO shocked!!!
I can't believe this...I mean, I saw her not long ago.
Much respect and condolences to her son and family.

Beka Rose Stewart
05/07/1979-22/12/2005
beka died suddenly on thursday night at a hospital in cairns,where she had been playing at a festival and having a well earned break with her beautiful son jasper.she had been well and healthy.
i spoke to a doctor at the hospital at about 5pm.he told me they thought she had pneumonia.3 days in hospital antibiotics and she will be home.within 3 hours she was dead.we are not sure what happened.
she was 26 years old.on behalf of all my family i would like to thank you all for your thoughts and love.im sure everyone out there whose heart she touched is as shocked and devastated as we are.i feel so lucky to have beka as my sister.she was such a beautiful and shining soul.out of respect for beka this week we will be celebrating her life in an appropriatly psycadelic manner.so have a dance for bek we will be.

So sorry to hear this - I only met Beka briefly at omnifestival last year.
She was a wonderful person and a friend to so many people i know.
I have only good memories of her.
My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

ive just heard the shocking news - this is so so sad
beka would always take good care of me when i was too faced and paranoid to deal with the world outside their van

May She Rest In Peace and her family be strong to carry on with life.
Life's so short but she surely left a mark where she passed. I just regret i never had the chance to see her Djing but i positively think somewhere in the universe she is already spinning her beloved music in a way we can't even imagine. Sadness all aorund us for now tough.

I can't believe it as well, i was speaking with L'elf a few days ago and he tell me this, was shocked news for me and yes she was a wonderfull Angel,
I really enjoy his company always, also we were preparing his tour in mexico, so im very sad untill now about this, My deepest condolences to her family.

I'm so very sorry, I wish I had known her!
I'm crying just reading all the replies here. 
Beka's spirit will live on at every party, every event, every festival!!
May God keep you Beka Rose and comfort your family & friends in this very sad time!
My heart and prayers go out to the Stewart family & all who knew and loved her!
