Avihen died in the most symbolic way he could have find.
Just before the release of his new album, in the time when he receives so many good feedbacks and appreciation from all over- he died in the "land of freedom" just like he sings with his own voice in his new album. Last night when I listened to it, still can't believe it did happened, I remembered that just before he left his home for the last time I was there and I didn't even say goodbye in a proper way, just the usual hug and saying: "ok man, see you soon", it was so regular that he goes somewhere and comes back... This time, unfortuantly, he didn't come.
Goodbye good man, thanks for what you have left behind.

devastating news..
I will miss Avihen dearly, never met him in person..but felt his amazing presence through e-mail , and of course, his music is a cornerstone in the trance world.

Sad news.
I only met him once, the only time he was here in Brazil. He played an amazing set in the morning, the most wonderfully beautiful set I ever danced to in my whole life - and afterwards I said to him: "man, congratulations, it was genius". And he just gave that big smile back and replied, "thank you".
shahar, your words brought tears to my eyes. my deepest feelings for his family, for you and all his friends.

i only met u a few times ,but when i got the chance of knowing you , you seemed to me like a true simple man with no ego that know's how to be a man & not just an artist
i remember from your sets your shaking hands in the begining of it out of pure exietment ,like it's your first time... , it showed to me that you r a man that loves what he was doing & enjoyed every second of it , i'm sure you'll know how to do it ,up in the sky....
