i know this is pretty offtopic from trance so i apologize in advance... im a religion major and am doing a presentation on sacred/spiritual plants and was wondering if anybody could give me some feedback or maybe enlighten me w/ a plant and what religion/culture used it and for what...

as in soma, hashish, peyote, psilosybin, the christmas tree, grape vine, datura... you know, anything of the sort...
