Chill Stage Lineup:

//ICYCOIL
(North Carolina)
Icy started djing gothic, industrial and new wave music when she was 16. At 20, she fell in love with trance and became one of the first female dj's to spin at psychedelic trance parties around NY. Currently, Icy tends to gravitate towards chill beats layered by spacey and melodic soundscapes.

// BIRD OF PREY - *LIVE*
(San Fransisco, CA - Hypergate, Celestial Dragon)

//DJ NOD
(North Carolina - TOUCH Samadhi)
Nod began his explorations of electronic music listening to the twisted psychedelic rock of the Ozric Tentacles as a wee hippie lad. Throughout the years his ears have traversed far stranger realms of ambiance ranging from dub to trip hop to grinding drones and everywhere in between. Recent excursions have found him deep in the bass-heavy realm of dubstep swimming through the sub frequencies…

// ROBYO
(Chicago, IL - Audiognomes)
Robert Young's path in music first began in the midwest when he played in several punk and hardcore bands in the early 90's. Later on, he moved to the west coast where he discovered the compelling sounds of electronica. Psychedelic chillout, dub, and trance music are his favorite styles, mixing up an epic soundscape of groovy beats and conscious vibes. As a member of the Audiognomes DJ collective, he is an avid promoter of Psytrance in the Midwest. These days, he divides his time between DJing, music production, sound design, and playing bass in the Chicago dub band Ital Conquerors. Expect a groovy, healing set, from this diverse and intelligent DJ!

I wish I could've made it to this one as well. Sacred Earth in 2006 was a blessing to perform at as I met a lot of fan-flippin-tastic people. Including many that I now see on a regular basis all over the country!!

best of luck peeps, we'll be stompin extra hard in ohio the week before this one.           We are all family. We put the fun in disfunctional.

My family and I attended this event last year and was very impressed! Fri night chill stage was F-crazy! The early morning freight train was out of control! the way the storm clouds surrounded the venue all night with flashes of lightning lighting things up. Really cool venue.....One suggestion....let people use vehicles to drop off their camping stuff. I had to make like 4 trips to my car and it was like a mile to my spot.....then, lol on my last trip from my car one of the camp staff guys drove up behind me and asked if i needed a lift, i was like hells yeah, then he tried to charge me 5 bucks.....then i was like hells no. No biggie, i understand the car thing for sure.

I would definately be there again this year......maybe the next one!

The only reason we didn't let people drive was because it was muddy. Someone would have gotten stuck and it would have been a huge pain in the ass to get them out .

Hopefully the weather holds out so we can have the mainstage outdoors this year!           http://soundcloud.com/ascensionsound

shit who cares anyway.....i need the exercise.

One particularly very nice touch i thought was the bags with the tea lights leading all the way down to the chill stage with the big star outline around the audio gnomes encampment....very vice touch
