http://www.soma-festival.de can some of u kind doutch speakers translate me a bit about this event.
i dont need introducing about what kind of music will be playing there, since kompakt and playhouse my favorites music sources and d-nox + tobias also of course 
i dont get if its open air or not, into the city or out of city, what options for camping and how its going in global.
if somebody was there last year i would like to hear about it also.

hi dude ...
the party is direct in the city of cologne in a Park , 5 different areas ...
it starts saturday evening with the techno trance guys and ends up on sunday ...
Fact -> Party is outdoors and directly in town near the cologner cathedral in a Park ,there is nothing mentioned about camping i dont know how it works but im sure it will be no problem to build up a little tent to sleep in .... |

yes youre right ... but like i read in the text it says the marathon starts on saturday evening with our well known D- Nox and Tobias etc etc and goes till sunday ... thats whats in the text ... little confused too |

this guys play on
Friday >2Raumwohnung,Michael Mayer, Tobias Thomas, Superpitcher und Ralph H. Christoph.
on saturday is hip hop and reggae with : allmighty Wu Tang Clan(USA) and
Saļan Supa Crew (France),Pantheon Rococo (Mexico)
on sunday >Heiko M.S.O., Roman Flügel, Ricardo Villalobos, Ata und Patrick Peiki
and from saturday evening till sunday there will be : D-Nox, Tobias & Daniel Sun, Sonkite, Haldolium, Montagu & Golgonda, Schlafcola, Alien, Lovecraft DJ-Team und Pushawa und Paul Cooper.
dont loose youre right way on the 5 different areas , or maybe you will miss Haldolium while youre getting dissed from the wu tang clan guys

Heeeey U made me shake when I read Wu Tang Clan !!! 
But seems they are not there...... cancelled ?
Hey besides Electronic Music let's also point out the apperance on Saturday night of Dr. Ring Ding & the Senior Allstars, which is IMO one of the best & funniest Ska, Calypso, Raggamuffin and Co. Band in Europe so far.
And also Zion Train on Sunday !!
This seems to be a really exciting event !!
