Ryo (Solstice) is the Solstice label manager and resident DJ. He is an excellent DJ and very versatile.
He usually plays eclectic full-on (playing trax I never heard before) but once I saw him play a progressive set along with some big name Japanese Progressive Producers / DJs and he was by far the best.
He played at one of my parties once, and before he went on, he asked me what I wanted him to play. I think this shows his professionalism and versatility.
I've only seen him a play about 6 times but he's never dissapointed, always fired up the dance floor. He plays regularly alongside some of the biggest names in Trance, being the Solstice resident DJ and he more than holds his own.
Next to Batta (Manas), he is one of the best DJs in Japan.
 The music was like new black polished chrome
that came over the sky like liquid night.

I'd definitely second what Ken said, and add that in my eyes, he always keeps the party and the party people firmly in mind, and his own ego (if he has one (surely he must?!?)) in check...

I work with Ryo since I am his distributor.
Well hopefully you can get a booking for him.
He has a new compilation coming out on the 2nd of November. A very good quality compilation called, ELEGRAFFITI, i reccomend it to all of you. |
