All world think that russian style is only Full on and main project is Parasence,D.J XP.
It's not right! We have good Progressive-psy
and tech trance projects!!! We (Neogen,Neoris,Cybered,Fuzzion,Wierd Walker) want to brake this opinion!!!!!!

you´ve been right neo....
most act´s i heard from russia are full on....
...but you are the living argument for other really fantastic music...
Overlab and Neogen are two projects that really kicks ass....
hope to hear more stylish music from russia....

I think place of birth of artist don`t make the music russian...
so NEO it`s not a revolution at all! ...
if someone will produce russian sound like finish or swedish or australian or israili, it will be much greater than just try to break the main line of trance in russia(full on sound). I think even Parasense can make great minimal track if they will want to do it..
russian is mostly just a BAD copy of foreign music...
there is NO Talamska or Skazi in moscow, NO Son Kite or Tegma and NO X-Dream or Delta
the problem is not in style the problem is in the heads of people... Who always look for money and for being famous... not for music at all. And noone in trance scene want to WORK HARD.

but X-dream is X-dream , Delta is Delta, Cybered is Cybered, Neogen is Neogen....

well..
the main idea in poison_inside's post is correct
about projects, sure neogen and others mentioned have a future
bwt weird walker is a rapper, no?
he makes trance or what should be called trance for fun and i haven't heard anything very impressive, as mentioned, it's all about money and weather;)
though i like overlap (neogen proj. is too minimal progressive for me though i haven't listen to newer tracks)
to sum up the shit i wrote:
it would take lot of time to change that opinion, that's what i think
but if u follow the changes u've started, u got a future, otherwise trance in russia will stay in russia...

Hello! Thanx shivas for ur Opinion about Overlap. It's my side project with Slava(Neoris) and for now..it's main for me,but i started to make new Neogen tracks.
About Fuzzion:Vova now is making new compilation for Horns&Hoofs entertainment and making new stuff for Boshkebeats rec.

I like Russian stuff and i disagree with Poison. I think that there are some Russian acts that create very distinctive "Russian" sound. Psykovsky for example makes a very different Full on from your usual GMS/Talamasca/Alien Project gang. So as Fuzzion which sound much lighter that the usual techtrance or progressive.
I see good future for the Russian scene.

Weird Walker is a russians ?? well,one sec.. i look into Organic rec. compilation "Free Your Funky Chickens" and yeah !! Petr Serkin. well man, its first russian trak that i know that realy got me. exxxelent trak on exxxelent compilation. Chromic Sunrise !! indeed chromic.
good luck with such music at parties.
i wasnt call it progressive (its sure more progy than typical gms sound) but its sure trak that maded me (proogy till my death) smile from ear to ear.

Hmm... I'm sorry, that you're talking this way abour russian trance. I just think trance and especially GOA is too young in Russia to be that good. But we'll get better. When i left Moscow, i have never even heard about trance. But now more and more people are talking about it, and there are more and more parties there. Some really great artists come to Moscow to make their shows... And you won't believe it, but you can even listen to trance on the radio. I mean, not radio online, but the maybw the most popular radio in Russia (Europa Plus, if youknow, but also Dinamit and others too...).

Wtf... Russians don't always look for money! I hate this stereotype... But too many people around the world think this way. We'll try to break this opinion.

i can't say it's bad, because i still love moscow
but it's kinda unusual and noisy and fucking drugged. never seen so much drugs @ parties
mad people...worth to see once;-)
i am going there every year and changes are seen but so slooowly...
and also too much kids that don't know what trance is (i mean culture) but ts-ts-boom-extazy
take care and have some friends nearby while u r there
and about sites, there are lot of them already
i suppose u still read russian;)

Yeap ! We have some problems with parties here!!! A lot of shit parties!!! A lot of kids which don't know this music at all..they know
only drugs...And here only Full on music...people don't know any new styles...because all promouters...don't like other styles.And every party only GMS,Skazi,Talamaska,Astrix.And that is why i start to hate this style of music.!!!
