@Kitnam,
Sure, i agree with you, i think being innovative and refreshing is very important, but im not trying to create something standard, or something popular, or whatever... Im just trying to make the sounds i love to hear...
I dont care if the horse is dead or whatever... Ill ride it anyway if i like it
And i don't find that sound boring... yet!
But anyway, were getting off topic
Peace

@Dark
I used this nord 100 times by myself. So I am the last one who is allowed to tell other people what they want to do. Its also very good to learn much about synth-dynamics and synth-rythmic structures. So go for it and use it, it will improve your skills. Until the day you will have enough from it (and your friends too (like it happened to me ("Hey arne why do you always use this nord again?")).

Now you made me sad
Anyway back to topic.
After messing around a bit with DiscoDSP Discovery and Albino II, i only managed to reach a similiar sound with the Discovery using the Buzzy preset and tweaking it a bit...
With Albino i wasnt even close!
Can anyone give some tips, advices, straight directions to what i should do?
Still confused in the world of synthesis.
Especially S.D6, i really liked your sound... What plug in did you use for the synths and for bass line?

ontopic: I dont know the disco. But the key is always the pitch-modulation. The S.D6 posted sound is from a nord for sure.
http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.clavia.se/pictures/nordlead2/NL2VCOlarge.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.clavia.se/nordlead2/pictures.htm&h=617&w=849&sz=164&tbnid=b82TSjNVegQJ:&tbnh=104&tbnw=143&start=3&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dnordlead%2B2%26imgsz%3Dxxlarge%26svnum%3D10%26hl%3Dde%26lr%3D%26client%3Dfirefox-a%26sa%3DG

screwing to OSC knob with a strong saw (mixbutton on full-right at first, obviously)is one method to edit this sound.

The sample posted here is very fast! Maybe they sampled it or they used the MOD ENV

http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.clavia.se/pictures/nordlead2/NL2VCOlarge.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.clavia.se/nordlead2/pictures.htm&h=617&w=849&sz=164&tbnid=b82TSjNVegQJ:&tbnh=104&tbnw=143&start=3&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dnordlead%2B2%26imgsz%3Dxxlarge%26svnum%3D10%26hl%3Dde%26lr%3D%26client%3Dfirefox-a%26sa%3DG

this is the basic and it will be a short way to sound exactly like the sample from this setting (sorry, dont have the details yet) every synth works similar (on the routing).

sorry, just recognized that the links are not working exactly.

OSC is the top button in the middle

MOD ENV is on left

hehehehe,
well i see you dont read hebrew hahahahahahaha
the link is for a question that i asked about in another forum,
i want to reach this sound but i cant get it!!!
i have synthesised the "squeeki" sound on the Z3TA+,
well, here is the way to get this sample by the cramware modullar:

well, the base of this sample is: modulation on the pich of "SAW" oscillator with envelope or slow lfo (on extreme modulation), you can use the same modulation to open or close hp bp filter, for this you can use the portamento option or build a patch with modulation on the pitch (as show'n @ this pic):
http://www.pic.co.il/UserPicPopup.asp?pid=3827206&alid=176147&uid=87128D4E2C6F4AA384ACF32D089DF52B

an explenation of what is in the pic of the creamware modullar:
a "saw" oscilator through an HP filter (Flexor Modul's at this link http://www.adern.com/).
when there is modulation on the oscilator's pitch and on the Filter's cutoff, its like this:
Pitch Modifier A wich modul'd by an A,D,S,R envelope trough an Invert (wich reverse the envelope movement), the same envelope effect's on the Filter's cutoff.
sound example's:
The envelope movement close the Cutoff: http://www.o-zen.com/shay/pmodhid.mp3

The envelope movement open's the Cutoff: http://www.o-zen.com/shay/pmodhiu.mp3

of course, this is a basic patch wich explain the principle of this sound, you can create a better sound and patch with your own quallification's.

There is another way to create this sound on the Z3TA+ vsti:
http://www.pic.co.il/UserPicPopup.asp?pid=3827442&alid=176147&uid=87128D4E2C6F4AA384ACF32D089DF52B

you can get fat and wormer sound by adding an LPF 12 filter besides what shown on the image, to open or close the sound use the cutoff fader.
and this is the sound you will get(the sample call'd trance_sound_[1]): http://www.o-zen.com/art/bands/284/music.php

I hope i was helpfull,
S.D6

i once read a post here with the title "How to make that vowl sound" or something like that...
I used the recipe on both my nord lead and on discoDSP Discovery 2, and both with a very great result...
If ur not one of those geeks that can hear how the sounds are created, this is a very good starting point for very agressive psy leads aka. russian sounds...
otherwise just look for some nice preesets for either dicovery or albino...
Also i've had some very lucky results with some of the premade plugins for reaktor... these have a very "full" sound compared to many of the other vst's on the market...

i really really dont like it, there is no Modullar vst that give's good sound,
the only modullar wich is the best is:
Nord Modullar
Creamware Modullar
