RSVP's for Gemini Festival " We the People " June 11th-13th 2010

I thought Gemini was free. I am confused as there's been many postings about it being a paying event this time, then it moved to Mendicino which made me think it was free, and now I hear people talking about having to pay. I have yet to see a clearly defined post about it costing (I still hold to the Facebook curse theory). So what's the deal? I want to go. I have been to two, both without charge which amazed me. So there's a charge? I will pay, in cash when I get there. How much?
Only two years for me knowing of psychedelic trance music. I have learned a few things, and now I actually have some favorites, but I really know little about the music as far as naming and knowing "Headliners". I have also noticed that our locals here are often headliners when they travel. I sometime think that people don't realize just how lucky they are in California. Maybe the "Familiarity breeds contempt" saying has some baring on this? The population density in California creates enough people to have gatherings even if psytrance is such a small amount of people that even know of it as a type of music, and the weather makes it possible to have gatherings well nigh year 'round. Since I've moved to Colorado I have seen how the less amount a people makes a smaller pool to draw upon to make gatherings even remotely possible from a financial point of view, and then there's this cold! Wow! And I like it cold, but you just can't stay in 17º F weather for long and this is here in the city, not the mountains. I will show up at the gate on Friday as I have the last to years, though no gate per se in Belden, park the truck, set up camp, and await the music, while greeting people, meeting up with friends, having a great time the whole time. Always interesting conversations and times of trance dancing that get me airborne and tranced. Other times stomping and happy. All good.
I have fun with the people when we dance and get lifted and airborne when whoever is DJing DJs like it can be when it happens like it can. I cannot explain, but I know when it is like it is and it happens like that. Much of it is dependent upon myself, which a DJ has some control over. There's many things that go into how I respond to various external stimuli. I am not so sure I want to figure it all out or know exactly the whys of it as it relates to me, but as Bodhisattva told me I will eventually learn to know whether I want to know what it is that I have learned. As long as I still am happy then the knowledge is OK with me. I do not know Ajja's or OOOD's music or them personally. Perhaps I have heard their music when a DJ has played it, but I would not know it. From other postings here and other threads, I was looking forward to them being at the Gemini to check them out. They aren't coming? Oh well, but I don't know what I am missing, so maybe it is not so bad for me as compared to their fans not getting to see them. I felt that way two years ago when one of my favorite DJs that I'd only just met a month earlier had trouble and had to cancel at the last moment.
Yeah, I'm digressing.  So, is Gemini free this year? Is their a charge? If so, how much at the gate? Cash OK, or will I need to convert into a different form of legal tender, such as amber ale or champagne on ice?
Just a few more weeks. I am looking forward to it. Road trip!

Damn i'm excited. Such a good lineup. More importantly, the gemini lineup always brings us back to the old-school....I can't believe I met Ross, Rich, Raph and Spook TEN years ago, at Psy-Mon in the city at An Sibin. I had never heard psy mixed like that, and met people that cool and that dedicated. They were and still are a big inspiration to me.
This is the ORIGINAL Phoenix Family / Full Circle styl-ee, y'know'what'im'sayin. I love that.

Gemini is soldout my friend. I had to have folks RSVP because I can only have 400 folks attend. Gemini is costing $40 to $60 donation. Check back June 1st for cancelations, Bom |

Is $47 OK? Times 2 makes $94. It's hard to say how much I feel I owe you for the two Gemini Festivals I have attended, so I certainly don't mind kicking in for this year's gathering and am grateful for the chance to do so.
I would like the music I read about on a different thread here on Isratrance that your friends put together a few months ago for this year's Gemini. Is it available still? Can I buy it at the Gemini festival? Download it only?
Facebook lulled me away from Isratrance. It is catch up time for me. I doubt that I'll be able to find or read all the threads I have missed. I am almost certainly going to be out on the road June First without any way to connect to the internet, but I will think of something if that is what it takes.

I did not know about a theft. I am sad to hear about that. I am beginning to see how this has been a trying year for Richard. I hope my one purchase is one of many.

people, please stop adding your name to the RSVP list...
It is full at this time...
It is not fair to others to stand in line at this juncture for any cancels.
If you are putting your name on here "in case of cancels", that will not work.
