RSS Feeds - To Be Or Not To Be

Dear users, what do you think if we start RSS feeds for certain sections? Like music reviews and such. Is it useful for you? do you use RSS at all to get faster and consolidated updates on what's going on in internet?
Please tell us what you think before we spend time and develop something that won't be used at all ;-)

Pavel, I personally can't live without rss. All my favourite blogs and sites that provide rss feed are in 1 single place. I don't need surf anything, no need in visiting all the bookmarks. Just checking rss from time to time and going to sites if i want continue reading or comment.
p.s. I already seen about recent pots... Let's keep this thread about rss only.

Hey,
i think that this idea is acceptable. RSS feeds are nice. At this particular case only few forums here would need RSS.

I use a lot of RSS feeds too and can't live without them, mainly because I don't have time to search the web everyday for some special categories of news that i find interesting.
For the forum it could be useful, but the forum is no too big that we can't look straight into our interests, but would be nice anyway..

Sure, why not develop RSS functionality for music reviews and promotional releases? This would be good stuff to have.

rss feeds are an amazing direct marketing tool and would be great if users know how to use them/ understand them for the sections mentioned.

RSS would be great, but I personally don't see myself using it.
I prefer a page which shows all unread threads or posts from the sections I choose - and a button which says "mark all read".
This is what I do in just about all other forums I participate it.
I click this link - then see the list of unread stuff. Middle click each interesting thread to open it in a new tab and then mark all read. Then I go and read the tabs.
