u can usualy see it on the cover sticker...but i dont know if its true about all the drives
there re also disc diagnostic programms around..

dont hold me to this but i think most hard drives (discluding scsii) are 10,000 rpm

for WD hard drives its easy to determine..
AB at the end of disc number means 5400 RPM
BB - 7200 RPM

check on the hardware properties the exact model
of your drive and search for it on the manufacturer
