Hello i just recently got in too fm8, and it got somewhat strange organization sometimes.
If i want to route a trigger inside fm8 how do i do it?.
Lets say i want to route the amplitude of an operator to an envelope.

I tried to find it in the manual, but damn that manual is like 800 pages           .

true that.... but i think it would be way better trying to browse some tutorials and brushing up through the manual coz its a very deep vst.

incase you need presets do let me know. i got some!

No 1 uses fm8?.

If i for example use the modulation matrix, and assign a LFO to a operator, what exactly do i modulate?, how can i specify my destination?.

1 go to expert
2 choose operator
3 there are squares like in notebook down or go to env below expert button

-----
second answer is amplitude of the operator

Yes i am aware of the squares, but still you have not told me how i assign the certain trigger to the modulator?

In all other synths you can just route what ever you to the modulator you want.
In fm8 the modulation matrix do not do much sense.
Ok i route AT too operator F, Operator F consist of alot of triggers, what is it routed too?.           .

I dont get it.

Ok we take for example.
Operator F is a basic sine wave.
Operator E will modulate operator F.
Now i want too assign the amplitude of operator E to an Lfo. How do i do that?.           .

Click the square where LFO1 meets op. E at the modulation matrix section of the vsti and drag it up or down as you like.           http://soundcloud.com/magimix-1/chilling-forest-whispers

Yes lfo is assigned to operator E with 100, but then what?. its not assigned specifically to the amplitude?           .
