Not great. I owned and sold it. In the same range but better Novation X-Station, Alesis Micron/Ion, and much better still at very low price Waldorf Blofeld.

yes, i spent this evening reading some reviews, and currently i feel that what i really need for that money is TC Powercore with Virus onboard... or nordrack2 maybe.
and yes, blofeld rocks but i already have a microq and it would be dull to have another waldorf

The powercore is the best functional buy. No nice boxes with knobs to tweak, but I would get that instead of the 201.
and for me the nord rack2 sounds a lot better than the 201.
Obviously the sh-101 sounds better than both of them pu together

Can I get any hidden problems with the powercore Virus in comparison to hardware virus? Is the sound the same? Stability?
Looks like I'm going to get one (if i don't fall in love to alesis ion tomorrow )

there were issues but it seemes they solved them, i use it for some years and i like it, lightweight virus b.
