Okay, okay, SH101 is the BASS. But the real king is the TB-303. A friend of mine used it on some psy tracks and it was incredible. In fact, TB-303 can be used on any kind of eletronic music, even in chill-out/lounge music. For bass, I would say:
1. TB-303
2. SH-101/Memorymoog

hey soft,just listen to reload buy deedrah!!i asked how he got the bass for that song,and i was a little shocked when he told me it was the sh 101!!
in my opinion that bassline is responsible for all the the stuff we hear these days,it was totally awsome when it came out...thats why everone copied it!! |

If i'm not mistaken, both Hallucinogen's albums had the SH-101 basslines. Not entirely sure though.

And Man With No Name, and old Etnica and Serge. The fact that the best producers in this scene have been using the sh-101, should give you a clue of how good it is.
