Has anyone here used the Roland JX-3P synth before?  What do you think of it?  does it 'cut it' for psy sounds?

it has a nice sound - it's
[i'm not sure if it's really so] "analog" synth,
but as a midi controller it's a piece of junk
because it has no velocity sensitivity
[it can have, but u need to pay extra $$$ to
have this feature it's a ROM upgrade.]
Generally Roland usually make really good sound.

if u want to buy a 2nd hand JX-3p -
make sure it works - download manual from
roland or elsewhere - and read it really tight.
then u'll know what it should be able todo.

it is cause roland don't make these synths
anymore - if something is fucked ... u'r fucked.
