Hey there, i'm still a bit of a newb to producing electronic music and I i'm learning bit by bit everyday. so yeah I come from playing guitar and have been for the past 8 years, i mostly played metal and hardcore punk and was in a band for a while. So one day i was at a guitar center and i stumbled upon this guitar effects pedal that turned out to be a synth in a pedal that basically turns my guitar into a synthesizer. i could play a saw lead with it or whaterver.

so i though, hey I play guitar, i'm better at that then piano. this would be quite useful and what not.

what do you guys think, any of you play guitar?

I've heard guitar being used in psytrance a few times. I think i heard a track by Astrix, don't remember which one though, heh.

The Flashbulb uses the roland I believe..
It takes some practice though and a bit of altering your technique to not produce a lot of ghost notes.
