play it before you buy, or at least check the samples. dont hurry. 2nd hand you have several good options for this money. nl2, virusb and many other.

I'm in Brazil now and here Ebay doesn't give such option like in Europe. So, I'm not sure...
I need some feedback from people who got (use) it.

Another option as I use loads of VSTi, is M-Audio Axiom Pro 49. I do know it's a controller but this may do a great job too.
Actually I'm looking forward to get my first hardware synth but if I dont find the right one I may get Axiom Pro49 and Synlenth1 VSTi.

So?
Brazil is a big country - I'm sure you have some sort of website about 2nd hand stuff.
If Israel has one (and our size is like one of your bigger cities) then I'm sure Brazil has one too.

let's forget about Brazil and focus on the GAIA's subject. As I want a brand new machine, the GAIA is my desire. But I dont think many people are using it or may have a better option...
Is nobody here actually using it ?
Is GAIA not really good for psytrance production?

Is GAIA SH-01 GOOD for PSYTRANCE or NOT?
please...
Check out this review from Sonic Lab.
Truthfully, I think you would be better off getting a good VST and a midi controller. The GAIA seems to sound similar to a VST. Plus your typical VST would be a lot cheaper. If you are starting out this might be a good idea to start off with.
Does anyone actually play a keyboard during a live set? I would think performers would actually trigger clips, adjust levels, resonance and filters. So you may not need a keyboard.

i would go for a decent vst & midi controller and if you have change the sound toys plug ins, the nearest to an eventide fx unit you'll get with plugins (imo)

Bullshit. How does a VST sound?

Not many, unfortunately. We need more keyboard players!
