Hi fellows,
I wondering if GAIA SH-01 synth would be a great machine to performance live and psytrance production? Is anybody out there using it and have a good result?
I may buy it tomorrow but I will only do it if a have help from some of you.
I don't want do a wrong buy.

Wait... soon you can buy it used, cheap.

For the same money you could buy a decent used soundcard (like rme).

Live performance may be a bit difficult since it's only 3 octaves (unless you're playing psytrance and then you only need 1 octave lol).
The Waldorf will get you more chicks though.

Which needs do you need it to cover?

In fact very few machines can do ALL that SH-01 can.
1. It's a synth
2. It's GM module
3. It's a soundcard

If you just need a synth, there's bunch of choices.
