Heloo..

I am looking forward to buy a synth and i was wondering if this 1 is good for electronic specially psytrance production..

http://www.roland.com/products/en/SH-01/

I was acutally planing for rolands sh 201 or Moogs Little phatty .. but after a lot of search i discovered that they r not avaliable in india. so this Gaia is 1 of the synth under my budget available here

Kindly give me ur opinions abut this synth and if u have any other synths to offer plzz do

I would get the Little/Slim Phatty anyday over the SH-01.

Got a brand new Slim Phatty off ebay for 530€.

Peace.

Easily said when one has one... or both. What about the Gaia? I played around with it in a store sometime ago and thought it was quite decent for leads and even bass... then I saw one Craigslist for Cad$ 250, brandnew and called too late... it was gone... grrrrrrrrrrrr.....

Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:

ok now i figure it'l be a one time invest so now i stand forward with 2 questions :-

1 . Virus TI VS Nord Lead 2x...which one??

&

2 . Virus TI Polar or Virus TI Keyboard..which one is more friendly with a biginer on hardware synth??

regards to this my present intention is to design progressive sounds.

1. If its going to be only one synth for a while, I would say the TI.

2. I had the Polar TI, nice and compact, same knob layout as the TI Keyboard.

But in all honesty, you can cover most of the sounds you can get with a Virus TI, by using a combination of good software synths that are out today and imo you can get even nicer sounds.

Save your money for monitors and acoustic treatment if you don't have any.

Peace out.
