Probably not as most modern prog seems to use excessively processed drum sounds. If you were making Goa trance though I could see it being useful, or more so house or acid music.

Don't think so...
If you're into drum machines, guess Maschine would be the way to go. It's just much more flexible and feature rich, and integrates nicely with your host software for ease of use and a modern work flow. |

I tried it yesterday.. It is just a flashy machine.. with 32bit 909 and 808 samples playing.. Samples, which you can download any where and play on any virtual drum machine.
I think roland is just trying to live its past glory with this new toy. Totally not worthy of buying.
In my personal opinion MFB tranzbar is the best. its analog Drum machine so it is worth trying.. I heard Elektorn rhythm is also good but i ave not tried personally.
