I have used something that looks exactly like Finis, but has a different name and a little more polished, maybe he sold it to someone... Finalis was the name! It's a great brickwall limiter

Well I find that Equim (formerly known as Uniquel-izer) is reeeally transparent.... as I 've never used sonnox or UAD plugz so far , (only waves back in the pc days, and logic's native eq's).
It sounded to me as it causes no resonance at all when I cut off mids from my basslines (around 2-3 Khz with a 24 db slope)....Usually a slight resonance could be heard through my cans (headphones) using logics eq's , but with Equim that resonance was at a minimum
level...I was just wondering if it was just me or any of you guys have noticed that.......
cheers.

I'm happy now with the Cubase eqs.
Big step foreward from SX I think. |

I used a few of these for a while when the company name was still Elemental Audio; they're pretty good. However when Roger Nichols bought the company and changed its name to his name, I stopped using them, for two reasons. Firstly, because I didn't like the thought of someone else taking credit for the hard work of the plugins' original authors, changing the names of the plugins to make them crap, and presenting it as his own work (which seemed to me to be the case with RNDigital). Secondly, I realised I didn't need another plugin pack as I had a bunch of other stuff that did the same things, only better.
