do se that almost all people do have a rock phase at one time... some moved from metal to psy....
Pearl Jam... Pink Floyd still works for me as a perfect break....
Lets know what tunes u rocked on....

both the psy and rock scene have almost nothin in common but still there is a certain bond between them .... but please iam not encouraging cheesy riff layered psytrance :biggirn: ...... stop that ok ....... ive simply seen too many who listen to rock 24\7 and are now psy addicts ....... even iam one of them ...

im totally into metal and a couple rock/metal bands. i never grew outta my rock phase. they arnt exactly "idols" ... but here they are...

Me also come from the heavy metal - punk
still love this music Pantera, Megadeath,dream theater, Feer factory, Metallica, pink floyd for sure.
i find that most of the psychodelic trance music I like, is related in some way to heavy metal. I find hardcore psytrance is the heavy metal of psymusic nowdays.
check out Dream Theater- Awake = like real instrumental trance!
