hello fellows,

well after the depressing failure of my last soundcard im just in time for a nice christmas gift for myself. im think the rme hammerfall 9652? anyone had experiences with this card? is there 1/4" TRS inputs? looks pretty spunky but just wanted some insight, ive heard you cant go wrong with rme...wonderful!!

Can't go wrong with RME! I think you need to add an expansion board to get TRS i/o's. Check this for more info:

Why don't you just get the multiface II + pci card if you need the extra i/o's? It'll probably cost you the same as adding the expansion board on the 9652 & this way you have an external interface.          http://www.soundcloud.com/getafixmusic

I suppose the 9652 is a great choice for all your digital needs. If you need analog i/o, I think 9632 is an option, and probably multiface etc.           Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

i own the 9632, got it for less than 200€...

its absolutely rock solid... also the digicheck tool is very nice for producing... very good drivers, quite nice d/a conversion for monitoring... rme rockz...
