RME Fireface 800 + RME PCI ?

Hey all!
If I buy the RME Fireface 800 do I then need to buy a RME PCI-card to connect it to my computer for maximun prestanda? Or can I just buy an original firewire 800 card from various manufacturs? Thx for answers! |

if you dont have firewire800 on your otherboard then you need to buy a pci card that enables the fireface to work with your computer through pci.
i think its called st-lab (or something like that).
 if u dig deep enough u just might reach the sky...
