RME Fireface 800 and Logic 5.5 problem

Hi everybody
I just bought the RME fireface 800 and it works great, except when I'm running Logic 5.5 and I want to ear some samples in winamp or edit some waves in Sound forge, the only sound I can ear is from logic, so I must shutdown logic to work in soundforge...I want to have them both at the same time playing whenever I want.
The thing is if logic is running and I open a wave in sound forge (with sound forge set to the same output as logic Fireface Analog (1+2)) it reads the waveform normally but theres no sound coming out! When I set sound forge to other output the result is an error message saying 'The Fireface Analog (3+4) MME playback device does not support one or more of the current format parameters (sample rate, number of channels, or bits per sample). Then if I shutdown Logic, Soundforge works well in any output!
That´s my system:
AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual core 4400
2GB RAM
2x300GB hard drives
RME Fireface 800
running logic audio 5.5.1
Please help me, I'm going crazy.. |

Maybe you haven't set up ASIO in Logic?

I did setup ASIO in Logic and it works fine. The problem is when I run another audio applicatioan such as soundforge or winamp at the same time as Logic! There's no sound coming out when using the same output as Logic and I get error messages when I try different ones, but Logic works always fine. Then if I have only soundforge or winamp running they work fine in all different outputs.
Does anyone here runs a similar system, PC Logic audio 5.5 and soundforge with fireface 800?

try setting up different outputs on the others for example main sequencer live outs 1-2
editing software cooledit out puts 3-4 youd need two sets of monitors for this though thats what i use in my studio good luck |
