i was going thru Justin's post about the chillout scene and artists producing as well as dj's playing chill/ambient in RSA,but that really signifies the scene being very *restricted* when it comes to chill....i guess festivals and outdoor parties(only few)
is where chillout is given a much organised setup.
Are there CLUBS who has been seriously interested in hooking up good chillout/ambient gigs orrr is the same as so many other countries that full_on is alwaya prefered over ambient.
any infos??

The chillout scene is very isolated and few and far between here, maybe you will find a few bars or lounges playing chill/ambient. There are not many trance clubs here anyway and generally at outdoor parties there is not a chill/alternative area but that is changing- over Easter weekend the Vortex will have a chill / alt are deep in the wattle forest with a beach on the river. I will let you know how it goes but for a lot of the newcomers they don't know about the chill / ambient option.but we are working on that one. |
