Hi folks,

small issue i have for a long time now.
my riseups sound like they are not in tune. or does the sound just not fit in the track?
short example here im working on right now.

i used vanguard. linked the osc's to lfo with a long detune rise.
song is in g# and the rise also starts in g#. anyways, it just doesnt sound right. wheres the problem?
and how do you make ur rise ups?

I'd say the uplift is not strong enough. Make it pass more notes. The starting note is good. Try how it sounds when you bend it higher so that the note in end is in harmony with root note (fifth or octave), if that doesnt help maybe you really have the wrong sound. Maybe someone else can say more about this           http://soundcloud.com/mansikka
