Hi,
can you guys recommend a free software that can ripp tracks from CDs to my Hard Disk at 320 Kbps?
I'm looking for freeware or shareware that cando it.... if there isn't any tell me wich one I should buy.

the lame32 mp3 encoder dll allows ripping in 320khz i dont how free it is thou...

if you have a fast CDROM ripping is done much faster than this ... why do you want to rip so slowly ?

BTW: "ripping" is the process of copying data from CD to harddisk, lame encoder (program to encode wavs to mp3s) is the best and is freeware. |

And why 320kbps? use 196kbps, the filter goes at 18-19khz. That's good quality. |

mike ... in lame you can disable filter at all, which makes it the best encoder.

I use Music Match JukeBox Anyone knows anything better? Which codec can be considered less lossy and in which rate i can encode without worrying for the sound quality later. Is it 192K? Or do you recommend something better? |
