What software can I use to rip at good KBPS (192 and up) also cddb support will be nice... I used to use music match jukebox, but it only supported 160KBPS. |

there's 2 stages - ripping is 1, encoding is 2.
lame is the best encoder (sound quality-wise), but i don't know how good it is in automating the names and tags, but audio extraction i think the best is to use wavelab - no errors and smooth. wavelab also has mp3 encoder Yuli says it's ok, so u can try it too. (i've never tried it, i use lame compiled for my CPU)

I must recommend EAC (Exact Audio Copy). I have a scratched cd (MFG - NKoW btw) and other rippers crashed or ripped with click and pops, while EAC ripped it without a single error. Get EAC for perfect ripping! And lame for encoding. |
