on the heels of their triumphat debut release , Rip n'Burn are back to provide another session of musical madness. With influences ranging from proper minimal grooves to dirty tech-house to industrial flavored downtempo and beyond, Back For Dinner aptly gives the thrust neccessary for a heavy floor workout as well as the diversity perfect for a home listening.

Launching back for dinner is Out Of Orbit Recordings boss Martinez, who proves his genius with his spine-chilling reinterpretation of Nathan Fakes otherwordly "The Sky Was Pink". The duo Chadronnet vs. Afrilounge follow up with their minimalicious "phoenix", whose wobbly synth lead and eerily subdued vocals let it to become one of 2005's biggest hits for german based top label Pokerflat. Not to be outdone by his fellow Danish countryman Martinez, the universally in-demand Trentemoeller presents his breakthrough rmx of Yoshimotos "do what you do", the colossal track which put him on the global map and was possibly the most unanimously heralded track of 2005. The solid grooves of Marc Rombay vs Stephan Bodzin's "Miranda" and Lars Sommerfeld's "Sundowner" give a taste of the shadowy underground dancefloors of Germany, where minimal sensibilities fuse witha pinch electro audacity to generate an incomparable futuristic sound. Pete "Slide" Martin and Tim "Electric Tease" Healey see their Coburn project's most procalimed work "We interrupt this program" receive a funked- up re-working of Jean Claude Ade, a track sure to provide the nights peak moments. The suitable named "Get Dirty" from L.Y.T.Z. gives moments of musical filth with it,s grimy bassline and and slyly chopped and manipulated vocals. As the Cd nears it,s close, a pair of deep grooving numbers from Lindstroem (the popular M.A.N.D.Y. rmx of "I feel Space")and Mathew Jonson (with his profoundly twisted "Return of the Zombie Bikers) eases the listener into the hazy afterhour atmospheres where the morning light barely penetrates the night's fog. Closing the Cd is american cult favourite Bluetech, providing his downtempo EBM- influenced re-construction of burgeoning electro artist Schatsi's "Rhythm Machine".

With the addition of DJ friendly 2x12" Lp feat 7 hot tunes from the CD, Rip n'Burn gives all DJs the tools to keep the dancefloor burning with intensity.
