hey people, i exported a track from cubase, and opened it in soundforge and i hear a very subtle ringing sound,i exported the track from soundforge and the ringin dissappears, so its only audible in soundforge... you guys know why this happens??

i loaded music from other artists into soundforge and i hear the same ringing sound in kick, its like low frqs make that ringing artifact, i changed the audio device, from conexant to microsoft sound card and still the same ringing, and finally y changed it to asio4all and the ringing dissapears.
Anyone knows why this happens?

you need to go back to cubase and go to your kick eq...... watch the start of this tutorial (about 1.50 secs in )where the kick is eq,ed, you need to find the ringing freq, then drop it out.

It's almost certainly a sound driver problem with sample rates--the ringing you are hearing is aliasing. Try changing the sample rate your sound card is set to.
I don't know if it is a soundforge bug or a driver bug (probably a driver bug), but it is not a problem with how you are producing your music, you do not need to change EQs or anything.
What sound card is this?

finally someone answers hahah..... i heard a lot of tracks in youtube that have the same ringing sound in kick, it does make sense the aliasing, because i did some mistakes changing the sample rate. but Why is this same sound in profesional masters that en up in youtube? its very anoying to hear this.
