there is a program Recycle-in this program u can make ur own Rex files...it's the best way

are rex files like looped samples for reason? i use reason alot, but have yet to find a use for them

REX files are audio files divided to individual sounds as accurate as possible. This is done for several reason, such as changing a loop's tempo without changing the pitch or vice versa, extracting individual sounds out of a loop, gating, etc.
You can use REX files in Reason and in Cubase, or you can export them as several wav files and an additional midi file and use them in any sequencer and sampler.
