i start rewireing reason to nuendo and i faced with some difficults on the way.
lets say i'm working with 1 Dr.Rex and 1 drum machine.
now, in nuendo i activate the mix-left and the mix-right (one ch. so far)
i'm also activating two more ch. for the Dr. and the drum m .
the thing is that when i want to work on each chanel induvidualy it play only the
Mix-L+Mix-R and no sound is coming out from the other two ch.
dont know what to do here please try help me out here

If you want to split each reason instrument into a different rewire channel its not enough to open them in the nuendo,
you should CONNECT the output of the synth/drum machine etc.. in reason into the rewired channel.
press TAB in reason and you will see all the connections, now just connect the outputs of the dr. rex to rewire channels 1+2 and the drum machine to 3(mono) and 4(mono).
this way you receive 1+2 stereo signal and 3+4 MONO, just take the stereo fader in cubase of the rewire channel 3 to the left and of the rewire channel 4 to the right and send them to a group.
now you got another "stereo" channel.
I hope i helped.
Have a nice day |
