Not finished - still about halfway through.
I'd like comments on the structure, ideas, progression, sound (note that it's 128 kbps), etc etc etc.
Enjoy

Hey Mike
ok ill start and say i like the sound and the Atmosphere VERY MUCH ...very chilled and gives a nice feeling.
what i would think of changing is the release on the bassline(make it shorter)...it sounds like a hisssssssss u know what i mean???? the other thing is...i think it can be a bit slower so the "story" and the comfy' feeling the track has will be felt even more...
overall...GREAT...waiting to hear the whole thing.
cheers.

Hello,

First of all will say that I like the feelin' of this track...
I especially like the way you use the bongoes in the track, sounds very nice.

When this is said, I have some critique:
The bass: I agree with the guy who said that you should make the release shorter. It has a nasty 'fadeout' sound which I personally don't like very much.

Aside from that, I think you use too many 'standard goa sounds' like that 'acidboy' sound (that starts around 1:23)

Also the synth in the background seem pretty standard for this kind of track (not saying that it's solely a bad thing, but I think that with all the tracks coming out, it's nearly overused somehow).

Suggestions: This track screams for a 'no-percussion'-part. Try to let all the synths run for a while without percussion...I think that will sound very nice and allow you to make a buildup so that the track will have some sort of climax, which I think it lacks right now.

Hope you could use this for something constructive

Cheers.

For some reason I was sure I replied here...
Anyway:

Nomolos - I should. No idea how. Tau pro has no release on it. Maybe I should play with the decay, but then it'll mess up the entire sound of the bass. Maybe i'll try using a gate or something, it can help.

Or - GOA 4EVA

Dar - It's format filters, not vocals

Ajma - I had that in mind. Just need to figure out how to implement it properly.

Fung - I'll work on it, sound still not top notch.

Thanks all for the replies, I'm happy to know that you like my music

Coool! I especially liked the transision at 1:06. The only thing I would like to suggest is after the pause when you start the drums again, there is a very good melody at the background that can't be heared. I think you have used too much reverb. Try playing with the reverb and bringing it in the front and back again. Or layer it with a guitar at some places.
