This double cd presents a new chapter of Holeg (Spies) under the name of Holeg & The Spies. "Reality drift" is much more close to his DJ-activity with some exclusive cooperations (Tim Schuldt, Mimetic, Von Magnet, Shaolin Wooden Men), and a new edition of Spies - "notinism-album" with new mixes and remixes.

You can find songs to be played on the dancefloor as well as the "typical spies-style" - musical landscapes and movie atmospheres - as some would say "deep and dark sounds".

I really like the idea about the collaborations with artists coming from different styles of electronic music. To me it's a sign of maturity and it helps to tear down some old boundaries that - and the album ist the prove for it - don't have to exist. It's an electronic mind-opener!

As always in the world of Holeg and Spies there're many surprises and many things to be listened and relistened to. A real audio discovery. It's a cd you don't get easely tired of - definetly not a "one-day-fly".

Just close your eyes and escape your everyday reality - get your drift....;0)

A "must have" in electronic-music-history to me...
