SHIVA BOOOM!!
What can i say- whoever landed at the small Club Lingerie that night had a grrreattt kick ass time!!DAI,Christian,Ricardo,Kiva AND Bill all played great sets. Sound quality was not great at all, lots of distortion, but the music was just fantastic. party went on till like 7 in the morning with everyone just wanting more and more.
Bill(Cosmosis) had a lot of tracks which might be released on his new album coming out in the next couple of months. FULL ON PSYCHEDELIC wont be enough to desribe the kind of sounds he was throwing out. Great job my friend- it was fun being sound technician:)
Was really impreessed with Kiva. That kid had some great tunes going with equally good mixing.
Perfect start for partying around the west coast for moi- had a great time everybody. nice to see dedicated trancers, freaks from all over the world partying hard!!Good welcome for me to L.A.
Guess i will see all you guys on wednesday at 'The Good hurt club' for some solstice tunes and then hopefully in the desert for Xenomorph.

P.S any pics?? please post!!
          Is there hope??

It was a good party. I had much fun at the party. I'm happy that I could play with great djs and artists. I heard the best set from Ricard!!! I heard his great set many times, but the set he played yesterday was the greatest. The performance was very exciting, music was building up dramatically, and it was going up in the sky as speed of light. The ceiling was about to blow off! Excellent! Cosmosis played a nice live set which was well blended with his some old and new stuff....rolling and twisted! As always, he finish up his set with "Down at the Crossroad". I had to leave early the night, so I missed Christian and Kiva, but for sure they played great.
Tell me what you listen, and I'll tell you what you are.

You know, I am upset I missed this one. Bilbo embodies everthing Psytrance is about. He is a great example of a good person and is one of the best and most unique Psy artist ever. His music always stands alone and has always been super psychedelically special to me........

Glad everyone had a good time...See you at X E N O M O R P H           assumption is the mother of all fuckups.

Thank you SHIVMA next time you see me give me a shout!

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY!

You sure have good timing with the scene here! What you experienced was a product of years of everyones hard work here in LA. Not only the promoters and djs, I'm talking about all the people who help in the background with deco and help with carrying sound, etc ( you know who you are). We have been along for this ride here in LA for a long time now and the people who help need to be recognized for there efforts as well.

I agree with sic_a_phant, it is great to have a non- sceptic embrace his surrounding instead of point out what is better somewhere else in the world of trance. We need more people with that attitude.

I have seen alot of travellers come trough LA with nothing but comments like these:

="Why is the crowd so small in LA? In _______ the parties have ten times more people"

I say:"When you live this close to SF, it's hard to compete with the HOUSE culture that was here first! Dont forget they like the bpm around 120! Not to mention all the genres that followed that culture and became very big here in LA."

="Why don't you have these parties outside?"

I say: "We have and do just not all year round. And that's if we're lucky!" Land of the Free! (dont forget to read the small print)... Welcome to America where your as freee as we want you to be!-More than 20 people? no problem, we'll just need you to get a permit and its gonna cost you 100 million dollars$!!

Oh I can go on but I won't thank god. My point was, be happy with what you have and work at making your surroundings better if you can. We are just fine the way we made it here and with one more addition its even better.

Thank you SHIVMA and WELCOME!
