Reverse sample problem in cubase

I open an audio channel in cubase. i put a sample there, when i want to use the same sample but i want to reverse it, every sound of that sample i have is flipped and reversed. how do i keep the one sound i want to reverse and not all of them?

When you try to reverse a sample that's being in use multiple times in Cubase, you get a pop-up dialogue. Choose 'New' instead of 'Continue', I think would be the proper choice... My head's screwed up today so I might not remember correct, but I think these are the names of the two buttons you get in the popup...

go to preferences ,choose Editing and audio,
in the '' on processing shared clips '' pop up menu u choose , open option dialog , thats it)
,this actualy enable pop up window ,so next time u again wiil have to choose from the options 'new'and 'continue'in there. |

if it dosent work anyway.. try to bounch to a second sample, you have bounch as a option in the audio pool if you right click... now you dont have to worry.... |

Sound Surgeon - nice that you worked it out,
sometimes for me to get the dialog to open i had to copy the sample and put it on another channel, otherwise i never got a dialog asking what to do...
sometimes things dont act like they should...
