Theres a regular reverse kick and the reverse kick he's talking about. So if you have nothing important to say stay out of the discussion. Thanks douchebag.

Yes compressing it is a good start. Also be careful not overlaping the 'click' with the regular kick           http://www.soundcloud.com/noisecycle

You don't need compressor or something else... just reverse the kick, but reverse it so the new normal kick starts at the point where the reversed ends, adding a crash would be helpfull to have a better punch when the new kick comes in, also removing the bassline at the point where the kick is reversed adds punch, depends on your taste           VA - Spiritual Science out now!

A bit of distortion is always nice and I also enjoy ramping up the pitch of my kicks for a whipping effect.

The main kick you're using might not sound as good reversed so don't be afraid of using another sample.           www.facebook.com/chemogen

You welcome, but I was serious, just find a good sample and reverse it.Or better,do one yourself with a solid sine wave pitchdown,so it will whip good in reverse (longer samples of kick are better when i tried it) .

Be carefull in placing it in piano roll, turn snap to grid and play with it till it sits good.
