Stupid question really.. but is there anyway to reverse a midi track? Like i've written out this huge 4 bar arppegio thingo spanning like 3 octaves and i want to have the next 4 bars being the exact opposite, so the arppeggio descends back to the starting note. Is it possible?

If I understand your question right and you are running Cubase, you can select all midi notes (in the piano roll), right click'em and then go to Functions (or MIDI, or MIDI functions, don't remember the name right now.. ) and then you have an option there called 'Reverse' - this would reverse the entire selection of notes in a piano roll but I don't know if this is what you were looking for exactly...

Else I hope someone else can help you properly...

For shure, you can do this in logic...
Inside the 'piano roll' and with the desired notes selected, go on the menu Functions/Transform/Reverse Position

That's it...

Kitman don't know but i think it's his last. the story i heard was that it was an incomplete symphony (caused by his death) and someone completed it by reversing the notes and putting that after the original incomplete symphony.

for sure beethoven had cubase in his head, remember that he was not able to listen anymore in his last years.
